Have you ever wondered if the things that come out of your
mouth determine the level of your success?
We need to be more careful of the things that we say. Negativity is not a good source of energy
when we are trying to build and empire.
Have you ever thought about before you can be a leader you
must learn how to follow? I know what
you are saying. “I am not a follower!”
That is the mistake that a lot of people make when they decided to own
their own business. Nobody wants to be
told what to do. That is why everyone
that decides to start their own business do it because someone told them what
to do our how to do it and they did not like it. Nobody would listen to them. I will also tell you positively speaking that
that is the reason why most independently own companies fall in their first few
years of business. They will not
listen.
You must be open
minded and be flexible to change. You
must make the necessary adjustment to cater to the consumers’ needs as the
industry changes. Money is not the only
thing that makes a business stay on top.
The little people are truly the bread winners. You must be more open to
suggestions from the people that work under you. Those are the people that see the issues and
problems before they come. They work in
it every day.
Do you want your business to stay afloat? Listen to your people, see where they need
help! Don’t be afraid to have an open
minded positively thinking and speaking meeting so you will know what is going
on. That way if there is a detour ahead
you know how to adjust your business needs accordingly. You may have the plan but your workers, and
consumers may have the answers you need to broaden your business horizons. Positive speaking and thinking can change
your whole outcome in the direction your business may need to go.

JUST BE YOU
No matter how hard you try to be someone else. The best person that you can be is You.
Don't try to change yourself for anybody else. Just be You!
Even when you are feeling Blue, and you don’t know what to
do?
You may cry alone
inside your room but don’t forget to Just be You!
You can smile on the
outside, but your inside are hurt still don't be ashamed to be You!
When someone looks
into your eyes. Let them see beyond the
disguise. Just be YOU!
Love who you were Then!
Love who you are Now.
Be proud you stumbled but did not waver. You did yourself a
favor.
You may have lost yourself many times, but you never fully
gave in and there is a reason why
You stood up for what you believed in and that was in YOU! Nobody
can be you but You!
The most important message I came to give to YOU!
Love who God wants
you to be. Love who God created you to
be!
JUST BE YOU!
A RADICAL INVESTMENT
I know you are saying to yourself what does she mean by Radical?
I mean something out of the ordinary. Something that seems so farfetched, that it
may seem impossible to achieve. Going beyond the ordinary.
The dictionary definition of radical is departing from
usual; Pervasive, far-reaching, searching or thoroughgoing.
So with that I say are you ready for a radical investment to
turn your business around, to give your business just a little bit of
flavor? Now the next question is going
to be how do I do this radical investment?
Where do I start? It starts with
you. You have to think about that one
opportunity of a lifetime. Put that
thought into play. What must you do to
get where you need to be?
First you must have FAITH not money! Before you invest you
must have faith in your investment. You must say I know that this investment is
going to turn things around for me. Then
you move forward. Don’t let anything
stand in the way of investing in yourself and your business.
The return on your investment is going to worth every penny
you put into it but you must move forward with caution. Know that every decision you make is
detrimental to your success. Your
attitude, your determination, your outward appearance, and most importantly your
branding. How do you look to the
world? What image are you going to
portray and stand by? Things that you
didn’t think would make a difference is going to be more of a priority
now. You say why? I say because you have stepped outside of the
ordinary into the extraordinary to succeed.
That means you have decided to be in a class all by yourself. Different! For an example you walk into a
room where everyone is wearing Red you have decided to wear Yellow! Stand out
in the crowd. You have decided that you
don’t mind being talked about. People
are now curious to see what you have to offer.
Catch my drift?
SO being unique and showing your personality in your
Business makes you different. That means
all aspects of your life play a vital part in your business and career. You have decided to move to the next
dimension, and go that extra mile to get where you need to be. That is a power move that will bring about a
prosperous Radical Return. Don’t give
up. Be Radical and come outside of YOUR box.

MY BROWN
My Brown is like your Red Power
suit.
It is bold but subtle it signifies
strength to stand alone
It’s the boldness that I feel when I
wear it. It gives me the sense that I can bear it.
It’s like I am the foundation and I
can run the nation.
This color makes me want to explore,
it gives me the feeling that there is so much more.
My Brown is like your Red Power

The color doesn’t have to be bright,
to stand out in the crowd. It’s the personality behind it
That makes it a sure fit. It’s the
person that has the drive, that person that brings things alive.
It gives me a sense of security,
ability and strength to be me. I love my brown true indeed.

This color makes me proud. Proud to
be who I am, and where I am at that particular moment.
It makes me feel like I am the best
component. I am playing this game of life and I am willing to win.
That is why I don’t have to blend.
Blend in with the ordinary same old game.
No not this woman she has been
THROUGH the rain.
That is why I can come hard , hard
as a brick. I have GOD on my side, and that is what makes me tick
Remembering where he brought me from
and where I am going, Brown is the color that keeps me soaring.

It makes me go out and get what I
want. Being in Brown I feel like a font.
A font that is bold, and has a
different style. I will leave my existence on you for miles.
I with my Brown on I am in attack
mode, I am bold I am beautiful and after me there is no other mold.
I am far and few between that is
real and Love the Lord. If you feel like I feel come on and jump aboard

Living in the overflow
How do you expect to live in the overflow if you are not
doing what it takes to get there? Living in the overflow means you must keep
your head to the sky. Know when to make
the right choices and decisions. You must continue to dream big. You must believe that there is a higher power
that is willing to help you prosper in your purpose. That higher power is God! Don’t let your foolish pride get in the way
of a good thing. Trust in Him and watch
your return flow through those blessings.
Taking on the responsibility of being a business woman takes
courage. It takes determination, and it
takes motivation. You cannot say one day
“I have this great Ideal and I am going to make it happen” Then weeks go by and
you have not accomplished anything.
People are going to think you are nothing but smoke in a mirror. Once you think it you have to know in your
heart you want to produce it. Bring that
thing to life. When that smoke
disappears, and that mirror image clears up make sure that you have that vision
staring you right in your face.
How much do you want that “overflow” how can you make that
happen? It is going to take a lot of
patience. You must contemplate on making
the right decisions that will fit your business. You are going to be pulled in many directions
but you must know what is going to work for you and your business. What
works for this person may not work for you.
Pay attention to the inner voice inside of you. That higher power will let you know when to
say when or when to say move forward.
Don’t try to do it on your own.
Everything has a season and it may not be yours at that time.
Before I go I want to put a little flavor in your ear I want
to tell you about this little thing called “Faith” this substance is the key to
living in the overflow. You see once you plant your seed of faith you
have to water it and wait for it to grow.
Speak life over you business as you wait for that harvest to come. Invest and let God do the rest. He will surely bring forth a return for you.
Did you notice I said “wait” and I did not say “watch?” A
watched pot of water never boils. So
what I am telling you is that patience is another key to a successful business.
You must pay attention to what you have built!
I am not telling you not to.
Please don’t leave it unattended but what I am saying is have FAITH that
you have put all you can into this establishment and you have Faith that is
going to give you back the return that you prayed for.
Just know that if you built your business on a good foundation
than you will surely grow a good harvest.
It is when you think you are doing it by yourself that your return comes
back less than what you expected. So
what I am saying to you is that if you want to live in the overflow you must
keep your head to the sky. and trust and rely on that higher power to tell you
that it is your time to prosper towards your purpose.

Nothing Ventured Nothing Gained
How much are you willing to invest in yourself to make this
thing happen? Are you ready for your vision?
Let’s talk about investing your time to equal your success. I am going to start off by saying “Anything
worth having at all is worth working for and waiting for. Now my old school girl Betty Wright said that
in her song “No Pain, No Gain’” But she was talking about a man. I am talking about in this industry of women entrepreneurs. We have to get ready to be ridiculed, to be
looked down on and you know the haters are going to hate but we must stand tall
and know that we are going to make this thing happen.
Now let’s meditate for a moment on the word “INVEST” To
invest means to commit (money or capital) in order to gain a
financial return. This is not the only
way to invest, you must invest TIME. I ask you “how much are you willing
to invest in your future? By now you
should be answering this question with “all the free time that I have because I
truly and sincerely want to make this work”
I want to ask you a few more questions: How far are you willing to go and at what
cost? When I say that I mean we must
stay professional, positive and keep our morals. Never lower your standards. I mean are you willing to ask for help? Are you willing to go that extra mile and do
what needs to be done? Put in that extra
time at a seminar, or in training. Are you willing to take risk? Will your vision cause you to have to
travel? Are you in a position to do
so? These are all valid questions that
will help you to trouble shoot before you find yourself at a crossroad or
roadblock.
Any decision that you make you must be open to the feedback
that you will receive. Learn how to
accept criticism, and use that as a learning tool for you next venture out of
the gate. That is what I mean when I say
nothing ventured nothing gained. You
have to venture out. Don’t always to the
traditional route. Everyone is doing
that. Look to get different results
every time you branch out. This means you
are gaining ground. We have to know that
everything is not going to be easy; as a matter of fact we are going to fail a
lot of times. But we have to have Faith
in God when we fall and we must get up and keep pressing our way, never lose
sight of your vision. Your vision is
your success level.
I want to motivate you to get out there and make some Mind
Blowing Decisions. Why do I say that, because
one of those decisions is going to truly just blow your mind and others
too? You are going to look up one day
and say to yourself “How did I get from there to here? “ You are going to look
back and say Wow!!! I am really proud
of how far I have come. So for the new
comers let’s brainstorm and think outside of the box, and if you are seasoned
in the industry: Shake it up a bit. Try
something new!
You only get a once in a lifetime opportunity to shine. If you see that you have the ability to make
it happen then reach for the sky.
Write that book, put that clothing line out there, go in the studio and
sing your heart out make that CD. Start
that business. Make yourself known to
the world. Market yourself. Let people
get tired of seeing your face. It might even
encourage them to make some mind blowing decisions of their own.
So I want to leave you with this word of advice. Tell yourself that you can make it, and Make
that thing happen! On this Journey

GET UP
I know you have heard this before but this is a true statement. “Your Strength is in your Struggle” Think about it. If you didn’t go through what you went through how would you know how strong you were? Don’t take that knock down personally get up and fight back. You were only knocked down not knocked out. Where is that inner strength that God has given you? Have you been hit hard enough that you are ready to use your ammunition to fight back? Let’s see your bounce back. GET UP!
In my first Collaboration “Chronicles of a Walk With Christ” The first title for my chapter that I came up with was “throughout my Struggle I Still Kept My Stride” I had to cut my title short to “I Still Kept My Stride” But it was just as powerful. It had the same meaning. Well it is those struggles that got me where I am today! It was those struggles that made me bounce back! It was me getting up that I can truly say I am a living witness that my Struggles made me stronger. I got up.
When I say that you have been knocked down I DON’T mean in a fight, I mean in spirits, I mean in character. We have found ourselves at a point in our lives that we were not sure if we had the strength to fight anymore. Well I am here to tell you to GET UP! Stop having that pity party and do something about your situation. Let’s focus on Building your character and spirits back up. If it is a job that you don’t have, let me tell you that the technology has made it so much easier for everyone in today’s society. You don’t even have to leave your house to put in for a position. Just GET UP and go to your computer. Some of us even have phones that you can use to apply for jobs lying in your bed. There is no excuse. Get UP! The only thing that is asked of you is to get experience.
In the Bible it says people perish because of the lack of knowledge, well the same thing is true in this world. People are perishing because of the lack of experience. What can you do about that GET UP! Go take courses. If you don’t have a car sign on to your computer and take some free computer based training. I will say it again there is no excuse. Get moving towards your destiny. Make a better life for yourself. Get UP.
I remember years ago when I first started looking for jobs I had to hit the pavement, each and every day. The job search started early in the morning, not this afternoon, and evening job searching the web stuff. I remember going up and down the Streets of Central New York Putting in applications at different office buildings. Going in different offices downtown asking were they hiring. I also remember catching the Central bus from hospital to hospital putting in applications. As I talk about it I was determined and eager to work just as I am now. That is because I never gave up hope on being the best at whatever my vision was.

WHO’S FOOLING WHO?
Where are you trying NOT to go? As you sit there wondering why things are going the way they are in your life? Sometimes we are our own worst enemy and we are the only ones holding our selves back from the opportunity of a life time. You know what you are capable of so who are you fooling? Why are you just sitting there? Make a move and do it now!
It is time for you to stop procrastinating and start motivating your mind. You know that you have a destination in mind so why not start your journey? However you have to do it go for it. Make up your mind that you are going to get it done and do it. Who are you trying to fool? Yourself? Because God knows all things that you are capable of doing He made you. It says it in 1 John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. So again I ask you who are you fooling?
I cannot stress it enough that you must get up, keep moving, and motivate your mind in order for you to succeed. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t make it. Tell them that you can and you will, and start the process rolling. All you have to do is contemplate your plan. Plant your seed in good soil and let the rest work for itself. If you want a good harvest you must know how to give and be ready to receive but be organized, be patient and be ready for that once in a lifetime phone call, email, or United States postal mail. If you believe in yourself, than there is nothing that you cannot do.
If you just make one step towards your own personal goal, you will feel a sense of accomplishment. That will give you the urge to keep going. You must me consistent, you must be dedicated, and you must be focused and your mind must be regulated to the level that you are trying to reach. Find your passion; find what gives you a sense of feeling whole. Make your plan a priority in your life. If you want to succeed you must be ready to stop sitting around and move about because you are only kidding yourself if you don’t. You are going to look back one day and say I should’ve, could’ve, would’ve. It is never too late but what I will say is that the time is Now! Put your mind, body and soul in motion. Who are you fooling? You know you want to do it!
The one word that keeps us from going for our dreams is “FEAR” but that is why you must have “FAITH” Faith fights fear. We must look fear right in the face and tell it to step aside. We are going to move on and there is no stopping us. So again I ask you who is fooling who? You are fooling yourself, so get out of your own way and do that thing that is within you.
